Guangzhou South Railway Station broke ground in Dec 2004 and opened on Jan 30, 2010. As of 2019, it has a total construction area of 615,000 ㎡ (main building: 486,000 ㎡), total investment of 130 million yuan, 15 platforms, 28 railway lines, and a 4-floor structure from the ground up.

Chengdu East Railway Station boasts a total floor area of 220,000 square meters, with 107,000 square meters dedicated to passenger facilities. The station covers an expansive site area of 867,000 square meters.

Beijing South Railway Station (Fengtai Dist, Beijing), a large railway passenger hub under China State Railway Group, is a key departure station for major high-speed rails like Beijing-Tianjin Intercity, Beijing-Shanghai, Beijing-Guangzhou, and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao lines.

Wuxi Metro Line 1 (Wuxi’s first operational metro), with main line (Yanqiao-Changguangxi) trialed July 1, 2014, and southern extension (Changguangxi-Nanquan) opened Sept 28, 2019, spans 34.6km (7.25km above ground, 27.35km underground) with 27 stations as of Sept 2019.

Shanghai Pudong International Airport (Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, ~30km from downtown), a 4F-class international hub and core of China’s Gateway Composite Hub/Shanghai International Aviation Hub, covers 39.9 sq km (total construction area 1.45 million ㎡) with 2 terminals, 1 satellite concourse, 5 runways and 340 aircraft parking bays, ranking among top global airports.

Changsha Huanghua International Airport has 2 passenger terminals (T1: 53,000 ㎡; T2: 213,000 ㎡) and 4 air cargo terminals (total 82,471 ㎡), serving as a busy passenger and freight transportation hub.

Nanning Wuxu International Airport (key China-ASEAN air hub) was completed in Nov 1962 (relocated from 1958 original). Expansions: 1990 Phase 1, 2014 Phase 2, 2019 T1/T2 works, 2020 2nd runway & T3 approval.

The station spans ~680,000 ㎡ (total area), with 2 above-ground + 3 underground floors and 180,000 ㎡ construction area (station hall: 104,000 ㎡; canopy: 76,000 ㎡). It handles 23.67 million annual passengers and max 5,000 people at once.

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (Huangpi Dist, Wuhan, ~25km from city center), central China’s first Class 4F civil international airport, has seen key expansions/renovations to meet growing travel demands.

Guangzhou Metro Line 18 (Guangzhou’s 14th urban rail), China’s first fully underground urban express line (top speed 160km/h), opened its initial section (Wanqingsha-Xian Cun Stations) to public on Sept 28, 2021.

Shenyang South Railway Station broke ground in Mar 2010 and opened on Sept 1, 2015. It has 254,200 ㎡ total construction area (31,000 ㎡ waiting hall, max 10,000 simultaneous passengers), 26 arrival/departure lines, 12 platforms, 22 platform edges—short-term 17.72 million annual passengers, long-term 40.5 million.
