Divided into three segments—"Excellence," "Blossoming," and "Soaring"—the design reflects the line’s journey from legacy industrial zones to futuristic hubs.

The Dalian International Conference Center, located in Dalian's Donggang Business District (a "Diamond Harbor" and CBD core area), is a landmark architectural marvel designed by Austria's ​Coop Himmelb(l)au (Deconstructivist pioneers known for projects like BMW World) in collaboration with Dalian Municipal Architectural Design Institute. Resembling a "shell" floating above the sea, its undulating steel structure features a dual-façade system with ​perforated aluminum panels for the exterior and glass curtain walls for the interior, enabling natural light diffusion and energy efficiency.
