Technical Disclosure for Wall Aluminum Honeycomb Panel Construction
1. Pre-Construction Preparation Aluminum honeycomb panels shall be fully fabricated in the factory.
The panel surface must be flat, uniform in color, and dimensionally accurate. All four edges shall have uniformly punched hanging notches, clean-cut edges, and undamaged corners. Prior to installation, panels shall be sorted and matched by model, specification, and color code. 2. Quality Requirements
1. Inspect all honeycomb panels before installation. Immediately report any damage, fabrication errors, or color variation to the Project Management Team. 2. Maintain a 20 mm expansion joint between aluminum honeycomb panels and the ceiling finished elevation; ensure uniform ceiling level across the entire area. 3. φ6 bolts shall be fully tightened with rubber washers installed over the shanks to prevent panel loosening and metal-to-metal contact. 4. Precise control of in/out alignment at panel hanging points is critical to avoid unevenness after installation. 5. Aluminum ceiling angle trims must be securely fixed. 6. Remove protective film only at joint gaps during installation; do not fully strip film until project completion. Implement proper finished product protection after full installation.
