2. Standard Construction Workflow
Snap ceiling elevation horizontal line → Mark keel spacing layout lines → Install water & electrical pipelines → Fix suspension hanger rods → Install main keels → Install secondary keels → Mount aluminum gusset ceiling panels → Install edge trim strips
3. Key Operation Points
3.1 Line Layout
Use a level to mark horizontal reference points (500mm above finished floor level) at wall/column corners, snap the reference line, then mark the secondary keel bottom edge line per the designed ceiling elevation (including panel thickness and folded edge height). Mark main keel positions on the concrete slab per ceiling drawings, with a maximum allowable horizontal deviation of 5mm.
3.2 Suspension Hanger Rod Installation
Snap ceiling elevation lines, locate lifting points via the ceiling’s longitudinal and transverse center lines. Lifting point spacing is 900-1200mm, fixed with φ8 galvanized expansion bolts. Hanger rod spacing shall not exceed 1200mm, with additional auxiliary rods for areas affected by concealed works, beams or pipelines.
3.3 Keel Installation
Install special keels for
aluminum ceiling panels perpendicular to the panel layout direction, with a maximum spacing of 1200mm; level and secure with bolts, and the use of wooden wedges is strictly prohibited.
Connect main keels to hanger rods with dedicated hanging fittings, extend with matching connectors, and level with a camber of no less than 1/200 of the room’s short span.
Fix secondary keels to main keels per panel dimensions; add cross tees when secondary keel spacing exceeds 800mm, ensuring a uniform level surface.
3.4 Aluminum Panel Installation
Mount aluminum gusset panels in the preset sequence. For square panel ceilings, adopt concealed bayonet secondary keels fixed to main keels with dedicated fittings.
Trim gaps between the ceiling and surrounding walls with L-shaped edge trim matching the panel material.
Position lamps, smoke detectors, sprinklers and air outlets neatly with tight, seamless joints; reserve access openings with matching materials, ensuring structural integrity and rigidity.
Heavy equipment over 3kg (lamps, fans, etc.) is strictly prohibited from being mounted on the ceiling keels.
