Main Types of Aluminum Square Tubes

The main classifications of aluminum square tubes include U-shaped aluminum square tubes, V-shaped aluminum square tubes, elliptical aluminum square tubes, suspended ceiling aluminum square tubes, curved wavy aluminum square tubes, and profiled aluminum square tubes. Each type is engineered to meet specific architectural and decorative requirements.

Applications of Aluminum Square Tubes

Aluminum square tubes are widely utilized in high-traffic public areas with complex concealed engineering needs. They facilitate efficient air circulation, exhaust and heat dissipation, ensure uniform light distribution to create a spacious and bright overall space, and can effectively conceal fire-fighting equipment and other overhead facilities. Featuring modular assembly and disassembly, they offer convenient maintenance and servicing. Typical application scenarios include subway stations, high-speed railway stations, airports, large shopping malls, leisure venues, hotels, schools, libraries, office buildings, exhibition centers and other open public spaces.

Professional Selection Tips for Aluminum Square Tubes

1. Inspect the Aluminum Material Quality

Commercially available aluminum materials are categorized by origin into ordinary aluminum, Guangdong aluminum and Southwest aluminum; by international standards into series such as 1100, 3003 and 5005; and by alloy strength grades including H24 and H18. To pursue excessive profits, some merchants use recycled waste aluminum as raw material, resulting in products with high impurity content, low structural strength, poor flatness, insufficient toughness and easy deformation. Selecting unreliable manufacturers and inferior aluminum square tubes will severely affect the product's service life and the overall aesthetic effect of the decoration project.

2. Evaluate the Surface Treatment

Common surface treatment processes for aluminum square tubes include powder coating, spray painting, roller coating and wood grain transfer printing, among others. Customized surface treatment solutions are also available to cater to specific design and application needs of different projects.

3. Assess the Manufacturing Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship refers to the precision control in manufacturing processes, such as bending coefficient accuracy, welding technology, and sanding flatness. Inferior craftsmanship will significantly reduce the product's durability and service life. There is a substantial gap in manufacturing craftsmanship among aluminum square tube suppliers in the market. Many small-scale workshops lack professional technical personnel and advanced processing equipment, leading to shortened service life of finished products. It is highly recommended to fully verify the manufacturer's production scale, technical strength and quality control system before making a purchase decision.

Installation Methods for Aluminum Square Tubes

1. First, design a horizontal line according to the floor height, set elevation marks around the walls and locate the room's center point. Mark the keel position lines on the walls with this point as the center. Then determine the hanger elevation based on the snapped horizontal line, install the hangers and fix them to the ceiling with expansion bolts.

2. Install the main keels at a general interval of 120 cm, then connect the main keels with matching hangers. Next, fit the perimeter keels and secure them to the surrounding walls with cement nails, with the keel spacing not exceeding 30 cm.

3. Install the secondary keels and hang them on the main keels with hangers. Finally, fit the aluminum square tubes: place the metal panels one by one along the set reference line, position them properly on both sides, then gently press and clip them into the keels and push firmly into place.
