Installation Method of Ballesta Honeycomb Aluminum Ceiling
I. Materials and Equipment
(1) Material Preparation and Requirements
① Honeycomb Aluminum Panels
Ballesta’s honeycomb aluminum panels must have correct dimensions, shapes and numbers, matching the required panels. Arrived panels shall be well-protected, with a smooth, impurity-free surface, correct spray color and good flatness, free of scratches or contamination.
② Section Steel
Section steel must comply with national standards, with actual thickness no less than 95% of nominal (no negative tolerance for some projects) and qualified strength. Galvanized steel needs relevant quality assurance documents, and all steel surfaces shall be free of defects like cracks, scars or rust.
③ Expansion Bolts
Expansion bolts must meet national pull-out strength and dimension standards, with smooth screws and expansion sleeves, uniform galvanized surface, and compliant specifications (length, diameter, thread, etc.).
④ A-shaped Clips and Backbones
A-shaped clips and backbones must match drawing requirements, with good vertical flatness, proper hardness, and the clip gap able to clamp two backbone edges.
⑤ Connecting Components
Connecting components must match design dimensions and strength, firmly securing A-shaped clips. Ballesta strictly inspects all components to ensure installation stability.
(2) Construction Machinery and Tools
Steel cutting machine, electric welding machine, electric drill, pistol drill, laser theodolite, wrench, screwdriver, hammer, ink line, plumb line, nylon line, steel tape measure, glue gun, rivet gun.
II. Operating Conditions
On-site water and power must meet construction needs. Recheck the base course dimensions, chisel excess concrete to keep errors adjustable; clean the operation surface. Temporary facilities must meet operation and safety requirements for smooth Ballesta ceiling installation.
III. Construction Process
Setting out → Embedded plate protection → Full welding of vertical/horizontal keels → Fixing A-shaped clips → Angle code installation → Ballesta honeycomb aluminum panel installation → Inter-panel rubber strip installation → Inspection → Finished product protection.
