Processing Methods of Brushed Aluminum Panel

Straight Brushing

Straight lines are formed on the aluminum sheet through mechanical friction, which not only removes surface scratches but also plays a decorative role. There are two styles available: continuous straight brushing and intermittent straight brushing.

Random Brushing

The aluminum sheet or grinding head moves irregularly with oscillation and translation against a high-speed rotating copper wire brush or abrasive belt machine, creating a dense, interleaved matte texture that requires a highly flat aluminum sheet surface.

Waving Brushing

Swirl Brushing

A cylindrical felt or abrasive nylon wheel is fitted to a drill press or dedicated rotary grinder, and rotary polishing with polishing paste creates delicate swirl textures on the aluminum sheet. It is ideal for decorative finishing of round signs and small decorative dials.

Thread Brushing

A small motor with a circular felt is fixed on the workbench at 60 degrees. A polyester film with straight edges is pasted on the aluminum sheet-fixed carriage to control thread width. The rotating felt and linearly moving carriage work together to produce uniform-width thread textures on the aluminum sheet.

Cross Brushing

Typically processed on a brushing or graining machine, the aluminum sheet is fed through two roller sets to form distinct crisscross textures on its surface.
